Welcome to Golden Hour

We are Chicago-based hairstylists Suzi Coates and Kyrie DeMay. Together we have created Golden Hour, an intimate hair studio in the Kimball Arts Center. Our collective has grown to welcome the talents of other independent stylists. We offer on-trend color, cut, and grooming services in an inclusive, comfortable and private setting.

Our desire to continually share with and learn from others has moved us to create a nurturing space where service providers feel empowered to find autonomy and self-fulfillment in their work. With that, we aim to extend the same sense of nurture to those seeking our services; Golden Hour was born with the intention of being a home not just for us, but for everyone who comes through the door.
